Decades of experience guiding clients through market shifts in North Idaho

Jackie Suarez began her real estate career in 1988 as a paralegal and legal assistant, searching land titles and coordinating closings. She then became a branch manager for a title insurance company. “I was fascinated by title history, from the first grant to the current owner,” she recalls. “These documents represented life-changing decisions for people.”
Jackie became a real estate agent in 2000 and, within a few years, acquired her Associate Broker’s license. Her decades of experience allow her to navigate various market trends and empower her to help clients through challenging times.
As the real estate market changes, Jackie recognizes the need to adapt and review strategies. "Our market is constantly moving," she says. “Being flexible, using new tools, and always learning more is crucial." Jackie understands that preparation and research are essential, whether it involves volatile interest rates, a competitive buyer's market, or slower economic conditions.
"We’ve shifted recently," she says. “Clients need to be aware of how a trend affects their buying or selling decisions." Jackie’s ability to pivot and adjust each step of the way, from pricing and advertising to negotiations, ensures her clients are always well-informed. She invests time in researching local and national markets and counsels her clients accordingly.
Jackie attributes much of her success to a foundation built on solid core principles. “There’s no secret to it,” she explains. “You work hard, focus on your clients’ needs, and prioritize what’s most important — God, family, and relationships.” Because these principles are reflected in everything she does, clients approach her for some of their most consequential decisions.
To Jackie, her clients are not simply transactions, but relationships she values deeply. They appreciate her transparent communication, thoroughness, and uncompromising concern for their best interests. For new home buyers, retirees, investors seeking maximum returns, and beyond, Jackie tailors her services to each client's needs.
Outside of work, Jackie and her husband Carlos live on their North Idaho farm with their two dogs, Rocket and Eddie. Their love for the area is evident in their pastimes, from enjoying the lake in the summer to skiing at Schweitzer Mountain in the winter. “I’m so blessed to work and live here in Sandpoint. It’s our favorite place on earth.”
