Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s Art Spirit Gallery is taking steps toward keeping art accessible for all, starting with ASL tours beginning this Saturday. In partnership with Timothy Madsen, a Troy University senior set to receive his Bachelor of Science in ASL and English Interpreting, the gallery will offer ASL tours from 2 to 6pm at their opening reception for the Magnificent Mel exhibit. Madsen will provide open accommodations for the deaf community within the region.
The Art Spirit Gallery encourages visitors requesting ASL services to contact them 24 hours prior to their visit at 208.765.6006, in order to make the necessary accommodations and arrangements.
Event: October 2, 2 - 6pm
