This year's masquerade ball event supports the vital Transitional Care Swing Bed program. Swing beds allow patients in rural hospitals to smoothly transition from acute care to skilled nursing care within the same facility, which is crucial for those who are recovering from illness or injury and require continued skilled nursing after their initial hospital stay. All proceeds from the Heart Ball will directly benefit this service.
